Sequencing 101

When crafting a yoga class sequence, it makes sense to move from the simple to the complex. Holistically speaking, this means your class begins simply and builds toward more complex movements, postures, flows and even concepts such as those that you might find in yoga subtle anatomy or yoga philosophy or within a peak pose.

Eventually, your sequence will settle back into stillness and return to simplicity as you guide students into the seated and reclining modules of your class and eventually a full and final rest or Savasana.
