Our focus will be about grounding, emphasizing movement in our toes, feet, ankle dorsiflexion and plantar flexion, knee extension and flexion. The foot is a complex mechanical structure of the human body composed of 33 joints, 26 bones, and more than 100 muscles, tendons, and ligaments that all work together to bear weight, allow for locomotion, and transmit force. Typically, when we struggle to find grounding in our postures, its because our foundation is weak. Hopefully, this 30 minute practice will increase balance, stability and proprioception.
A fantastic class for runners, hikers and people like me having plantars fasciitis. Thanks a ton, Jenny!
I frequently request foot exercises in yoga classes but this took it to another level. I loved the focus and the creative movements. Thanks for a well thought out class!
Wonderfull class with some new movements.
Love Jenny just did feet class and was excellent, so looking forward to the series 🙂
Thanks Jenny ! I feel my legs from feet to knee very light
Fantastic class for mobility practice, and Jenny is a great instructor, she made it feel flowy and not just a series of drills. I’m a slackliner/highliner so I love the focus on toes and knees, I’ll come back to this class regularly!
