Warm, open, stabilize, and strengthen the shoulders as you journey toward headstand. Learn safe, sound alignment as you build toward one of the most cooling and gentle inversions while practicing the intention of Stantosha or Contentment. Learn to respond, rather than react, to what’s arising as you change your perspective and turn upside-down. A block and wall are suggested for this practice.
Good practice, think of the entire class as warming up for handstand (hence the title). A good workout and flow just need the right mood.
