Exactly what I needed today.
Thank you Lauren. I totally broke down sobbing earlier today when our cat peed on my son’s blanket…he’s 14 and it’s been he and I since he was 2. That event led to a thought train all the way down to “I can’t even keep clean blankets on my son’s bed!” (We live in apartments with coin laundry and the coin shortage is a struggle for my cleaning compulsion)…I don’t cry often, so this surprised my son. Long story short, your comment, “There’s no way to be a perfect mom but a million ways to be a good mom” is beautiful. Followed by that supported savasana… beautiful.
I found quarters and put hot clean blankets straight from the dryer on him! Thank you for this practice for mom’s at every stage and age!
I am not a mother but I wanted to try the class and loved it. Not as easy as I thought it would be. Excellent all around yoga in just 20 minutes.
