Do you know you have THREE hamstrings? An no green eggs, obviously. The hamstring muscles are responsible for your hip and knee movements in walking, squatting, bending your knees, tilting your pelvis, and obviously in yoga postures.

Hamstring muscle injuries are the most common sports injury. In yoga, outside of your typical hamstring tightness, you might have had “yoga butt” which is technically an irritation or inflammation of the hamstring tendons at the attachment site on the sitting bone. This 30 minute practice will focus on ways to strengthen the hamstrings to prevent injury.
