This is a seated, open eye meditation during which you will gaze at a single, unmoving point 2 to 3 feet in front of you as you build the skills of outward focus and concentration. This point could be on the floor, on the wall in front of you or you could choose to rest your eyes on a nearby object such as a plant, picture, or other object.

Wasn't sure I would be able to do this when I started = immediately felt the urge to stop altogether but focused on softening my gaze and slow blinks = and I began to relax focusing on Laura's guidance through the practice - afterwards I felt relaxed and empowered
