Posture 10 Prone

Prone postures can be calming or energizing depending on the level of effort the posture requires. Certain prone postures, such as plank pose and its variations, are highly effective at building strength in the arms and anterior core, whereas locust pose is an effective strength builder for the posterior lower core. Other prone postures, such as frog pose, are more effective for stretching. Most postures in this category are safe with a variety of injuries.
