Introduction to Pranayama

Pranayama has been an integral part of yoga science for over 2,000 years. Pranayama is the amplification of prana through conscious control of the breath. Scholars trace the lineage of pranayama back to the Brahman priests, holy men, who had exclusive access to an extraordinary collection of hymns, and prayers, known as the Vedas.
