There are times when your heart needs the alchemy and medicine of rest. This practice is designed to help relieve tension and stress in the back and upper body as you move through a series of restorative backbends.
One to two bolsters or firm pillows, a yoga block, and blanket are suggested for this practice but, the can easily be modified with one bolster.

It is hard to rest in real life, but I loved that reminder you made during the practice. Sometimes rest and feeling good only stay in our mind as a dream we dream about. Thank you for this practice. I loved all the resting poses, and with a candle, incense, and some romantic light, I had a real blast of loving-kindness.
I am so glad that I did not go to sleep without practicing yoga.
