Brett’s classes are by far my favorite – and I felt like I needed some “Enthusiasm” today and this was just what I needed. Challenging but really fun.

I love this class so much, it’s challenging and also playful. Lots of creative moves! It”s really impressive to combine the strengthen and lengthen of the muscle together. The flow and balance made me sweat and shaky but at the same time very relaxed and comfortable. I’m new here and this is my first class, I can’t wait to explore more! Yes, this practice was physically challenging but more than that, it challenges and opens you up to actually thinking of yoga in a new way, especially when you feel like your enthusiasm for the practice has plateaued. It makes you think that maybe the feelings and fears that came up when you believe you can’t do a handstand now also came up at first with yogis who now do handstands. Thank you so much Brent and team!! I hope to see more classes with Brent.

Thank you Brent. This ENTHUSIASM practice was so nourishing. I feel like every joint in my body was flushed with all the healing power of blood, oxygen, nutrients. I feel fantastic! Your cues were right on; your voice, steady and calm, gently guiding me into the next position. Familiar postures with novel segue that lift and lighten the work. Truly artful, imaginative, and joyful for the recipient. Again, thank you for the practice.

I liked very much that you did some poses that are not very common. However, there needs to be more detailed instruction on how to arrive at the pose you are aiming for and/or alternative ways to get into the poses. For example, if you don’t have someone spotting you for some of the handstand poses, please explain how to do them against a wall, etc, otherwise people can seriously injure themselves.
Also, please provide alternatives to your pilates moves as I get severe pains in my neck when I am lowering and lifting my leg by my arms. Holding poses will help one to build stamina more anyways and are more yogic rather than pilates weight lifting moves which build so much aggression in me that I just want to punch something over and over again. And I am a normally very calm collective person. I believe it’s the combination of the pain in my neck and wrists that come about from those weightlifting type moves and the superficiality that comes from repetitive movements like an assembly line rather than allowing one to get deeper into a pose by holding them.
What a joyful, fun class!! So challenging but the bits I couldn’t do still gave me the biggest smile and I learnt to laugh while falling 🙂 Thanks Brent!!
