FULL TRANSCRIPT   [The following is the full transcript of this episode of “The BE ULTIMATE Podcast.” Please note that this is direct from Travis speaking unscripted and unedited.]

Welcome to the May You Be Healthy Body Scan.

Find a comfortable seated position on a cushion, a block, chair, sofa, your car seat, and just get settled.

Sitting up tall, dignified but relaxed, upright but not uptight, and softly closing the eyes.

As you bring your attention inward inside, bring your attention to the cranial cavity encompassing the organ of your brain and also your face, and begin to repeat the phrase,
“May you be healthy.
May you be healthy.
May you be healthy,”
as you bless this part of your body with health.

Sometimes called the Loving Kindness body scan, we’re going to send good energy to all the different parts of our body.

Continue to repeat, continue to bless this part of the body,
“May you be healthy.
May you be healthy,”
as we use the power of thought and the power of our minds to shape our reality. And we know that through the mind-body connection that our minds, they always has an effect on our physical state and vice versa as well. It’s a two-way street.

Now shift your attention down to your throat encompassing your vocal box and your thyroid and repeating the same phrase,
“May you be healthy.
May you be healthy.
May you be healthy.”
You can also include your neck.

[silence]

Move the attention to the shoulders, blessing the shoulders with health, “May you be healthy.” Down the arms to the biceps and the triceps and the elbows, “May you be healthy.”

Allow the attention to move down the forearms, the wrist, the hands, the finger tips,
“May you be healthy.
May you be healthy.
May you be healthy.”

And then bring your attention to your upper back, to your trap muscles, your inner back muscles, the rhomboids, “May you be healthy.”

The back of your heart, “May you be healthy.”

Move your attention down to the lower back, “May you be healthy.”

[silence]

Bring your attention to your heart, your chest, your lungs, in your diaphragm, in your ribs, “May you be healthy.”

[silence]

And the energy all the way down into your belly, the center of your digestive system, your solar plexus, your stomach, your intestines,
“May you be healthy. May you be healthy.”

[silence]

And now dropping the attention down onto your hips and your pelvis, “May you be healthy. May you be healthy.”

[silence]

Shifting the attention to the upper legs, “May you be healthy.” Quadriceps, hamstrings, femur bones, “May you be healthy.”

[silence]

And then now your knees, sometimes a precarious and vulnerable joint in the body, “May these knees be healthy.”

[silence]

And moving the attention all the way down to the lower legs, the calves and the shins, “May you be healthy.”

[silence]

Down into the ankles and the feet and the toes and the spaces between the toes, all those little bones, “May you be healthy. May you be healthy.”

[silence]

Now bless your whole entire body, feel the whole unified and connected body as one, every part of you, and blessing it with that phrase, “May you be healthy. May you be healthy.” Just keep repeating, keep blessing.

[silence]

From here, let that phrase go, take a few moments to be in the power of stillness and energy of health.

As you’re ready, nice and easily slowly open up your eyes.

So as they say, there’s no greater wealth than health.

Bring this health with you into the rest of your day.
